You called yourself a CEO because it sounded good but you wasn’t a CEO in writing. If you want a piece of somebody company you have to buy in. Like give them money. You are a artist, Clover G was the label you should’ve put in writing in your name instead of just claiming it as a hood label. You waited until you fell out with Hump to put it in writing. Lil Wayne owns Young Money, not Cash Money, that’s Birdman label just like Sucka Free was Hump label. Flip you just didn’t have your business together, just admit it and move on. The money that came from Sony for Sucka Free goes to Hump because in writing 100 percent of the label was his. Even if a check is for your album budget, the money is his because it’s his label. I saw Rick James at the Funk Festival at L.A. Coliseum with Parliament-Funkadelic, Lakeside, Con-Funk-Shun, and the Bar-Kays.

I didn't know about the Crosby,Stills, and Nash influence.

Rick James was a real cool dude. I saw him a couple of times in Westwood. Once he was there with a girlfriend up in the balcony section and the fans just wouldn't leave him alone, so he had to grab his girlfriend and go.

I knew her as a teenager when they were living in Pacoima. Little Rick was just a kid at that time. She was kickin it with my homeboy.
